What is Reiki?

Reiki is a form of alternative therapy that originated in Japan founded by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. It involves the use of hands-on or distant healing techniques to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Practitioners believe that they can channel universal life energy (known as "ki" or "chi") through their hands to help balance the body's energy and facilitate healing.

Key aspects of Reiki include:

1. Principles: Reiki is based on five principles: Just for today, I will not be angry; I will not worry; I will be grateful; I will do my work honestly; and I will be kind to every living thing.

2. Practice: A typical session involves a practitioner self practice.

3. Benefits: Many people report feelings of deep relaxation, reduced pain, improved mood, and enhanced emotional clarity after receiving Reiki treatments.

4. Training: Reiki practitioners undergo training that typically includes three levels (or degrees), with each level teaching different techniques and symbols used for healing.

5. Scientific Evidence: While many individuals find value in Reiki, scientific studies have yielded mixed results regarding its effectiveness as a medical treatment.

 How many level of Reiki?

There are typically three levels of Reiki:

1. Reiki Level 1: It introduces the basic principles and history of Reiki. Focus on Self mental, emotional and Physical healing.

2. Reiki Level 2: Introduces symbols that enhance healing abilities, allowing practitioners to perform distant healing. Healing of Place, time, job, relationships etc

3. Reiki Master Level 3 : This involves advanced techniques, master symbol and guided meditations and chakra healings.

ATTUNEMENTS 

Attunement in Reiki refers to a process where a Reiki master facilitates the opening of a student's energy channels, allowing them to access and channel Reiki energy. This process typically involves specific rituals, symbols, and meditative practices that help the student connect with their inner healing abilities. Attunements are usually conducted during formal training sessions for different levels of Reiki (e.g., Reiki I, II, and Master level) and are essential for practitioners to effectively use Reiki on themselves and others.
